Nicole is the founder of The Red Dragon Growers, an educator, holistic wellness practitioner, accountant, herbalist, and entrepreneur whose work integrates nature, science, strategy, and spirit.
Before entering the wellness field, Nicole spent more than two decades in corporate real estate accounting, developing expertise in financial management, systems, data integrity, problem-solving, and organizational strategy. Her life changed dramatically following a botched spinal surgery that resulted in arachnoiditis, a rare and often debilitating neurological condition that ultimately altered the course of both her health and career.
What began as a search for relief became a much broader investigation into human healing, resilience, and restoration. Nicole redirected the same analytical mind she had used in business toward the study of psychology, neuroscience, trauma, herbal medicine, mind-body practices, energy medicine, meditation, movement, and traditional systems of healing. Her personal recovery became both a laboratory and a catalyst, leading her to explore how the nervous system, environment, emotional health, physical body, belief, behavior, and connection to nature interact.
Nicole holds degrees in technology, business management, and accounting, along with extensive professional training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Neuro-Linguistic Programming, Hypnotherapy, Meditation, Herbalism, Trauma-Informed Counseling, Strategic Life Coaching, Emotional Freedom Technique, Thought-Field Therapy, and Advanced Integrative Energy Therapy. She is also a Reiki Master, yoga instructor, ordained Spiritual Minister, sound practitioner, and recipient of the Nine Rites of the Munay-Ki.
Her healing journey first inspired the creation of The Sound Within Us, a holistic wellness practice centered on restoring balance across body, mind, emotions, and spirit. Over time, that work expanded outward into the living systems that surround us. Through The Red Dragon Growers, Nicole brings together regenerative gardening, herbalism, biodiversity, ecological stewardship, wellness education, and experiential learning.
Her suburban garden in South Jersey functions as far more than a place to grow food. It is a living classroom, teaching garden, wildlife habitat, herbal apothecary, and personal restoration space where she studies the relationship between plants, people, ecosystems, and well-being. Her work emphasizes practical self-reliance, plant knowledge, resilience, ecological responsibility, and the restorative power of reconnecting with the natural world.
Nicole also creates educational content through writing, workshops, digital resources, and her YouTube channels. The Red Dragon Growers explores gardening, herbal medicine, biodiversity, sustainability, and nature-based wellness, while The Sound Within Us and NikkiNumbers reflect different dimensions of her personal journey, spiritual exploration, and work in human development.
At the center of Nicole’s work is a simple principle: human health cannot be separated from the health of the systems in which we live. Her evolving mission is to help people restore their relationship with their bodies, their inner lives, their communities, and the living Earth through education, practical skills, embodied experience, and a deeper understanding of the interconnected nature of life.
